Indications

• Treatment of vertebral compression fractures caused by osteoporosis

Contraindication

• Vertebral tuberculosis, bacterial infection

• The fracture of posterior edge of vertebral body is extensive and incomplete in large scope

• The degree of vertebral compression exceeds 70%

• Pregnancy or planned pregnancy during the trial

• Osteomyelitis, extradural cyst

• Severe compression of the spinal cord at segment of the diseased vertebral body or secondary spinal stenosis

• Severe cardiopulmonary insufficiency, coagulation mechanism disorder, septicemia and other patients not suitable for operation
