From March 8 to 9, 2025, Huake Run and Sino-European Zhiwei co-organized and participated in the International Training Course on Comprehensive Minimally Invasive Digital Spinal Solutions at Phramongkutlao Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. The event brought together 16 physicians from five countries, including Vietnam, Malaysia, and Russia. The curriculum focused on the clinical application of minimally invasive spinal techniques such as the Smart Woodpecker robot and angled vertebral augmentation, with Chinese and international instructors providing systematic instruction on surgical procedures and key technical points, accompanied by live demonstrations. From October 17 to 20, 2025, the Sixth International Conference on Clinical Engineering and Healthcare Technology Management, together with the Tenth Global Academic Conference for “International Clinical Engineering Day,” will be held. From October 10 to 12, 2025, the “Spinal Deformity Management Practical Course,” organized by the Scoliosis Research Society (SRS), was held at the Surgical Skills Training Center of the Department of Surgery at the University of Hong Kong. The course focused on the correction of complex cervical and thoracolumbar spinal deformities, as well as various high-difficulty spinal osteotomies, attracting numerous senior surgeons dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of spinal deformities. From October 29 to 31, 2025, the second session of the “Micro-Technique” International Training Course on Minimally Invasive Spinal Surgery was held in Shanghai. More than 20 international physicians from Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Vietnam, Armenia, Uzbekistan, and other countries participated under the guidance of the orthopedic expert team at Tongren Hospital, affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine, in a comprehensive program that included ward rounds, surgical demonstrations, case discussions, theoretical lectures, and hands-on training, thereby gaining an in-depth understanding of cutting-edge knowledge and clinical applications in minimally invasive spinal surgery. The 5th Orthopedic Robotics and Minimally Invasive Surgery Training Course at Beijing Century Altar Hospital
On December 27, 2025, Beijing Century Tan Hospital, Affiliated to Capital Medical University, successfully hosted the fifth Orthopedic Robotics and Minimally Invasive Surgery Training Course. This marked the first robot-focused educational program covering the entire technical workflow since the launch of the Intelligent Woodpecker Miniature Spinal Surgery Robot, employing a comprehensive teaching approach that integrates surgical observation, theoretical lectures, and specialized seminars to provide in-depth instruction in both theory and practical application.
